A 24-year-old man will need surgery for a fractured skull and a brain bleed after a collision with a car in Gouda Way in Gloucester. A police patrol came across the incident at 7.40pm last night, Saturday. The victim, a 24-year-old man, was concious and breathing but was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on a spinal board. Police found a body in a parked van on the A417 between Gloucester and Cirencester. The grim discovery was made in the vehicle on the A417 in Granny's Pumps layby, near Elkstone.A member of the public contacted police at about 3.15pm today.
